Excess is the amount that you are responsible to first pay for upon a claim, before FWD covers further costs. These are the different types of excess for FWD Commercial Car insurance:
- Standard excess up to S$5,000 each time your car is accidentally damaged. The amount varies depending on car make and model
- S$1,500 excess each time we receive a third-party liability claim
- An additional S$2,500 excess each time your car is accidentally damaged by a driver under 27 years old
- Windscreen repair and replacement (S$100 excess for replacement)
