You can opt in for this option anytime during the policy term if you have invested in any of the dividend paying fund(s). We will receive the dividends in units from the relevant underlying fund manager(s) based on their respective dividend payment dates and we will sell the units distributed within 7 business days after receiving them. You should receive the dividend amount within 7 business days thereafter. Due to market fluctuation, the unit price at which the units are sold may differ from the unit price used to calculate the dividend payable. Consequently, the amount you receive may differ from the original dividend payable.
Please note that if the dividend to be paid is less than S$10, or such other amount as determined by us from time to time, the cash out option will not be available, and the amount will be reinvested into the respective fund(s) that have declared dividend(s). Also, for corporate policies and policies denominated in USD currency, reinvestment of dividends is the only available option for dividend distribution.
