Medical expenses for inpatient and outpatient
Medical expenses would only be covered in the event of seeking treatment due to an accident.
You can claim for Medical Expenses – including treatment such as physiotherapy, acupuncture, bone setting, and chiropractic therapy – that result from an Accident while you are in Singapore or Overseas.
To make a claim for Medical Expenses, please provide the following documents:
- Medical bill(s)
- Medical report or inpatient discharge summary
- Flight itinerary or boarding pass (only applies to outpatient/hospital admissions made overseas)
Daily hospital and/or weekly income
You can claim Daily Hospital Income if you are hospitalized for at least 3 continuous days, or Weekly Income if your accident causes you to be temporarily disabled for more than one week.
To make a claim for Daily hospital and/or weekly income, please provide the following documents:
- Medical report or inpatient discharge summary
- Medical certificate(s) (only applies for Weekly Income)
- Flight itinerary or boarding pass (only applies to overseas hospital admission)
Daily taxi allowance
If the accident you experience leads to your hospitalization for at least 5 continuous days, you can claim under this benefit up to the limit as shown in your Personal Accident Summary.
To make a claim for Daily taxi allowance, please provide the following documents:
- Taxi receipt(s)
- Inpatient discharge summary
Ambulance fee
You can claim under Ambulance fee if your accident makes it necessary for you to take an ambulance to the hospital. This applies if you need to take an ambulance right after your accident happens, or if you need to take an ambulance for medical follow-up related to your accident.
To make a claim for Ambulanced fee receipt, please provide the following documents:
- Ambulance fee receipt
Permanent disability or accidental death
If you become Permanently Disabled or death due from an accident while you are in Singapore or overseas, you or your legal estate can claim under this benefit.

Mobility and prosthesis aids
You can claim under Mobility and Prosthesis Aids if a Medical Practitioner has prescribed the relevant aid or prosthesis as a result of your Accident.
To make a claim for Mobility and prosthesis aids, please provide the following documents:
- Receipt(s) for the mobility and prosthesis aids
- Doctor’s memo
Damage of personal electronic device(s)
You can claim under Damage of Personal Electronic Device(s) if your electronic device(s) was damaged beyond repair because of your accident (that led to your hospitalization).
To make a claim for Damage of personal electronic device(s), please provide the following documents:
- Photographs of damaged electronic device(s)
- Invoice of the damaged electronic device(s)
- Inpatient discharge summary
- Flight itinerary or boarding pass (only applies to overseas cases)
Home modifications
If the Accident you experience leads to your mobility being affected, and a Medical Practitioner prescribes these home modifications, you can claim under this benefit up to the limit as shown in the Table of Benefits.
To make a claim for Home modifications, please provide the following documents:
- Quotation for the home modification*
- Medical report
- Doctor’s memo
*We must first approve any home modifications before they can be made
Event cancellations (due to haze)
You can claim under this benefit if the ticketed event you want to attend is cancelled by the organiser because of haze . You can claim for the ticket cost personally paid by you for yourself or for other insured members up to the limit as shown in the Table of Benefits.
To make a claim for Event cancellations (due to haze), please provide the following documents:
- Event receipt(s)
- Cancellation Notice/media’s announcement
Emergency phone charges
If you are required to call our Emergency Assistance, police, medical facilities, consulates or your family members in Singapore due to an emergency or life threatening event while overseas, we will reimburse your phone charges up to the limit as shown in the Table of Benefits.
To make a claim for Emergency phone charges, please provide the following documents:
- Copies of official receipts or invoices
Funeral grant
If an Accident causes an insured person’s death, we will pay the Funeral Grant within 24 hours.
This applies if the insured person’s next-of-kin or legal estate provides us with the death certificate in order to claim this benefit.

Personal liability
You can claim for Personal Liability if you are held legally responsible for accidentally injuring another person or damaging or causing loss to another person’s property.
To make a claim for Personal liability, please provide the following documents:
- Police and/or incident report (Local/Overseas)
- Third party Correspondence (including Letter of Demand and Court Letter, both in Singapore and overseas)
