The amount of coverage you need for your home contents will depend on the number of contents that you have. One suitable way to estimate this amount would be to have an inventory of the items in your residence. Please note that while there is no “per item” limit for furniture, domestic appliances and home audio-visual equipment, all other home contents are subject to a sub-limit per item.
Here are some examples:
- Domestic appliances: Refrigerator, washer, dryer, induction cooker, microwave, air fryer, oven, dishwasher, vacuum cleaner
- Home audio-visual equipment: TV, speaker, sound bars, projectors, projection screen, amplifier
- Home content with sub-limit: Books, clothes, jewellery, bicycles, mobile phones, bags, shoes, crockery, laptops, computer, watches, any collectibles, vases, antiques, paintings
