his benefit works by keeping your coverage intact even after a claim under the Early Cancer, Heart Attack and Stroke Benefit or ICU Benefit (if added on) has been successfully paid out. In other words, instead of a termination of your policy after a claim under the Early Cancer, Heart Attack and Stroke Benefit, or ICU Benefit (if applicable) is made, your FWD Critical Illness Plus insurance policy will go into an auto-reload period from the date of your diagnosis, during which you will only be covered under the Death Benefit. Your premiums for the policy will be waived during this period.
After the auto-reload period, assuming that there was no claim made under the Death Benefit during the period, premiums under the policy will resume and continue to be payable. Coverage for Late-stage Critical Illness Benefit will also resume at 100% of the original sum insured (less any claims paid for angioplasty & other invasive treatment for coronary artery).
