Yes, the 14-day free-look period applies only to new policies and to products where this benefit is expressly stated in the policy wording. If you have purchased an eligible policy, you will be given 14 days from the day you receive your policy to review your needs. Should you decide to cancel your policy during this 14-day period, we will refund all premiums paid, less any medical fees and other expenses incurred (if any).
For certain products, the free-look cancellation and premium refund will not apply if a claim has been made under the policy, even if the cancellation request is submitted within the 14-day free-look period. Please refer to your policy wording for the terms applicable to your policy.
No full refund will be made after the 14-day period has passed, and you will continue to enjoy coverage for the period for which you have paid premiums. Any cancellation after the free-look period will be subject to the applicable terms and conditions stated in the policy wording.
