The addition of COVID-19 rider can only be made at the point of purchase of the travel policy.
If you would like to add COVID-19 rider after you purchase the travel policy, you may do so by cancelling your existing policy before the policy start date and purchase a new FWD Travel insurance with COVID-19 rider selected as add-on. In such scenario, you will receive full refund on the earlier policy cancelled.
Please note that if your travel plan starts less than 72 hours from the date of purchase, you may still cancel and re-purchase FWD Travel insurance but you will not be covered for trip cancellation, loss of deposit, and trip postponement.
You may login to your FWD Online Services account to cancel your travel policy. You may then visit the FWD Travel insurance page to purchase a new policy. Please choose the COVID-19 Enhanced Travel Benefits add-on during purchase.
